Gunners summer signing Olivier Giroud is happy to get off the mark in the Premier League after his fine finish against West Ham United, and believes he can “start his adventure” at Arsenal now.
His first goal for the club was a tidy finish against Coventry City in the Capital One Cup, but the pressure was still on for him to score at the top level in the League and he did so in style.
A one-two with Podolski ended with a superb ball from the German and Giroud diving in front of the helpless goalkeeper turning the ball inside the post – bringing Arsenal the equalizer they were looking for.
Now that he has managed to break his duck he is looking forward to the season and believes the Gunners can have something to say in the the title race.
