Hard Earned Point Puts Ahead In Pole Position For 3rd

Arsenal gained a decent point after hard fought battle in Orc land to put us in the drivers seat for the race to the third spot. Stoke gained the lead through their tall burly striker within the first ten minutes leading to a bit of anxiousness from the gooners but the lead was quickly nullified by Arsenal through a Robin Van Persie goal. Arsenal did well to dominate possession in the middle of the park but failed to create enough chances to win the game.
Stoke persisted with their hof ball tactics but the Arsenal defenders were more than prepared to combat them on this occasion. Many fans were unhappy at the end, given only one point was taken from this match, but people forget that this is the same venue where the likes of United and Liverpool dropped points.
