Arsenal's defender, Bacary Sagna is presently in Nigeria with team mates Lucas Podolski and Per Mertesacker.

The trio arrived Nigeria on Saturday as they met in fans in an exciting event in Lagos .A delighted Bacary Sagna who plays for France but of African soil, Senegal expressed joy and would relish another visit too Nigeria next year.

“I am quite happy to be here (Nigeria); it’s a homecoming for me. I’m back to my roots because I am black and from Senegal,” Sagna said.
“Even if I am not Nigerian, we are all brothers; we are blacks. Hopefully I will be part of the team when they visit again next year.”

Per Mertesacker, who knows how to win the heart of anyone spoke of one of Nigeria's legend and former Arsenal player, Kanu Nwakwo.
