It’s no surprise Jesus Navas picks four Spaniards in his five-a-side team. But his choice at the striker position left many wondering: how did he pick that one?
Navas was the next in line at Manchester City to select five players with whom he has played throughout his career and assemble the best team in his opinion.
The 30-year-old, who’s been at the club since the summer of 2013 after joining from Spanish side Sevilla in a £15 million deal, picked a 1-2-1 formation.
Iker Casillas is his goalkeeper. Navas played with the former Real Madrid and current FC Porto veteran in the Spain national team, winning the 2010 World Cup and 2012 European Championship.
