Juventus consider pulling out of Van Persie race as Arsenal drive a hard bargain

Robin van Persie is all but certain to leave Arsenal this summer, but Italian champions Juventus have cooled their interest in the striker according to Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta. The Bianconeri were previously front-runners to land the Dutchman, but now it appears that Juve are unwilling to meet Arsenal's hefty demands for the transfer.
Former Feyenoord man Van Persie has seen seven trophy-less years at the Emirates and has decided to move on this summer. Juventus and Manchester clubs - United and City - were said to be chasing the player after Van Persie turned down a new contract from the Gunners.
