Koscielny Signs New Deal

Arsenal fans have been given some good news today with confirmation that Laurent Koscielny has signed a new long-term contract with the club. The 26-year-old has proven himself to be a key player during his two years with the club, possibly so much so that he is the only one of our current centre backs who is assured a starting berth. Koscielny enjoys a growing stock in English football, with the many that were previously critical of him now giving him the praise he deserves. The new deal for the Frenchman is the start of the process of renewing contracts for the players at the club who have less than two years to run on their contracts in order to avoid future Nasri and van Persie situations.
