Latest on injuries to Thomas Vermaelen and Oxlade-Chamberlain

Arsenal have received some positive news on the injury front concerning Thomas Vermaelen and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The duo were withdrawn before the end of Sunday’s 2-0 victory at Liverpool where Lukas Podolski and Santi Cazorla starred to hand the Gunners their first goals and victory of the season.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, who was only making his first start of the season at Anfield, made way for Aaron Ramsey after 73 minutes as he limped towards the sidelines but Arsene Wenger has calmed any fears over the 19-year-old’s fitness.
