Liverpool move for Arsenal striker as Benteke exit near

Liverpool are set to make an approach for out-of-favour Arsenal forward Theo Walcott, with £25m being the figure suggested for the England man.
Walcott has made 15 league starts in what was another injury effected season, however having been on the bench some 20 times, it’s clear the 27-year-old has yet to convince boss Arsene Wenger that he should be a first team regular, and a goal-scoring record of two in his last 21 league matches, further damages his claim to start as a striker rather than on the right wing, his favoured position.
