Lorient President: “The door stays open for Koscielny transfer”

Lorient president Loic Fery remains adamant that a deal with Arsenal can be sorted for Laurent Koscielny, after revealing that the “door will stay open” for a possible switch.
Arsenal chief executive CEO Ivan Gazidis opened negotiations with the centre-back’s club towards the end of May, but had the initial bids snubbed. The latest rejection came last week, when reports of a €10 million bid were met with a thumbs down from the Ligue 1 outfit, yet the north London giants continue to pursue the centre-back.
Fery also revealed that Lorient inquired about a possible loan switch for Armand Traore or Francis Coquelin, rebuffing reports that it was Arsenal who offered them as ̶...
