Lyon: Arsenal Haven’t Bidded For Lloris

Lyon club president Jean-Michel Aulas has stated on the clubs official website that they have not received a bid for their star goalkeeper, despite him being heavily linked to several English clubs including Arsenal this week. Rumours of any bid from Arsenal, or even interest, seems likely to be false, especially since Wojciech Szcz?sny’s appears to have that number 1 spot nailed down, and his young age means he won’t be relinquishing it anytime soon. The only possible reason for Arsenal to have any genuine interest in Lloris would be if they were unconvinced, as many Gunners fan were, by the Polish goalkeepers displays as the season reached a close and also in the Euro 2012 tournament.
