Manchester City vs. Arsenal: Gunners look to high flying recent results to push them past City

The English Premier League will have the first clash between title contenders when Manchester City takes Arsenal on Sunday, Sept. 23, at 11 a.m. ET. This is both teams’ first real test in the Premier League, unless you consider Liverpool a title contender.
Both teams are in a very similar form on paper. Arsenal and Man City have played four games, three of them against the same teams. They even achieved very similar results: both teams beat Southampton at home and drawn with Stoke City away. The only difference was Liverpool, which Arsenal beat 0-2 and Man City finished in a goalless draw.
