Match Previews: Arsenal v Everton

The Gunners will head into the final match of the season fifth in the standings, a point behind fourth-place Liverpool, while Manchester City, in third, are a further two points clear.

Arsene Wenger has guided Arsenal to at least a top four finish in each of his previous 20 seasons at the helm and momentum appears to be on the side of the Gunners, as they have won six of their last seven league games.

Wenger has also never lost a home match against Everton, with Arsenal’s last defeat to the Toffees on home soil coming way back in January 1996.

Arsenal are sweating over the fitness of defender Laurent Koscielny, who missed the midweek victory over Sunderland with a calf problem, while he is also struggling with an ongoing Achilles complaint.
