Mixed injury news ahead of Chelsea as Frimpong lays into PFA

Early team news is out for the Chelsea game and there’s good and bad. And mixed.
The news on Mikel Arteta is slightly better than anticipated. His ankle problem is just a sprain which means he doesn’t require surgery. He’s still out for the season so, you know, it’s not much good to us at the moment, but he should only miss six to eight weeks so no danger of ongoing problems continuing on to next season. The fact that he’s part of a stupidly talented generation of Spanish midfielders also means that he gets a summer of rest and recuperation with no Euro 2012 commitments.
