There are often times when I am concerned when we travel up north on a cold weeknight. These sorts of trips away are often our Achilles heel, but the trip to Wolves on Wednesday night was anything but. As we continued our good form of 8 wins in 9, Wolves succumbed to their 7th straight defeat, and the stark contrast showed. It was about as routine as you’ll see. We cruised and didn’t need to get out of second gear.

Wenger was forced into a couple of changes in defence. Koscielny picked up his 10th yellow card of the season and was suspended. Gibbs suffered yet another injury setback. The pair were replaced by Djourou and Santos respectively. Rosicky was given and Ramsey was allowed to start in his preferred playmaker role.
