My Day With Ivan Gazidis

The Man
It was Friday the 7th of december when I received an offer from a good friend of mine to go to the Emirates and watch The Arsenal play in, what had fast become, a very important game against West Bromwich Albion. This, however, was not an ordinary spare ticket, this was an invitation to enjoy the game from the director’s box. This was an opportunity to meet and share lunch with a man who is widely criticised by many Arsenal fans, a man who I have always wanted to meet and talk to face-to-face. The man I am referring to is, of course, Ivan Gazidis. Superbly written and very enjoyable piece. Throwing our hands up in the air and crying about the current situation at our club will do no good at all. We have to come together as Arsenal fans and back both the management and the top brass together. With such solid foundations and real world financial stability not fantasy land like other clubs i could name, things can only get better at Arsenal. I for one really appreciate articles like this one written for the true fans by a true fan. And one with some acumen to boot. A story it may be but it is still an insight into a side of the Arsenal that we would otherwise be lacking. It is reassuring to know that our club is run by a man who genuinely cares for Arsenal and the fans. A man who will look after the clubs best interests and do it the right way!!! With a few tweaks and some key signings things at Arsenal could change very quickly and all this negativity will be forgotten. Be proud gunners fans everywhere. Proud to follow such a truly great football club. The good times will return. Lets start with back to back wins. Have a very merry Christmas one and all...
