Hardwork, toil, missed chances, brilliant saves, then, the goal. These summarized Arsenal’s slim 1-0 victory over QPR at the Emirates. After back to back defeats that extended to the continent, the Gunners needed a big response against another “minnow” in QPR after suffering an upset against another supposed minnow – Norwich. Queens Park must have thought they could also spring a surprise and earn their first league win of the season at the Emirates but Wenger’s men were wiser and keen to arrest the recent blip in form.
