Now That Arsene Will Make No Further Transfers

Arsenal’s Contract Issues, internal squabbles and general loss of plot are making themselves known on the pitch

I mean, really, has it come as a surprise that we’ve been unable to buy players because we’ve been unable to sell the average players we have due to the exorbitant wages we pay them?
Take Alex Oxlade Chamberlain for instance.

Just found his mojo as right and sometimes left-wing-back. Check.
Decides not to renew his contract if we don’t pay him the hefty weekly wage of £125,000 a week. Check.
Will probably be inconsistent in his performances after ten or so games. Double Check.
One or two seasons later, we’ll look to offload him but no one will be willing to pay his hefty wages. Triple Check.
