Olympiacos 2-1 Arsenal: 10 things learnt about the Gunners

General analysis:
1) Our 3rd loss away to Olympiacos did nothing to give the team a boost of confidence ahead of West Brom or to ease the mounting pressure on Arsene Wenger.
Granted, Arsenal had already qualified for the Champions League knockout stages and I am well aware that many of our players were rested, but the fact is that many Arsenal fans (and especially the pundits) will only see another loss. Playing a second-string team was undoubtedly a big gamble by Wenger.
2) We will find out if Wenger’s gamble pays off on the weekend. If Arsenal don’t get a result against West Brom then that is simply unacceptable and can no longer be blamed on tiredness. We always knew based on the squad taken to Greece that there was possibility of defeat, but the regular first-team players needed a rest and there didn’t seem like ...
