I’ve been pretty impressed with how circumspect most Arsenal fans have been about our recent turnaround in fortunes. For the most part we’ve been keeping a lid on it. Not wanting to get too carried away until the job is done. All too aware of how quickly pride can turn into pain, smug can turn into smeg, self-importance can turn into self…impotence.
So it’s a little bit annoying to read, of all people, our erstwhile Chairman Peter Hill-Wood’s latest comments regarding our season and Arsene Wenger’s part in it:
