Arsenal got their league campaign back on track with an away win over Sam Allardyce’s West Ham. The come from behind 3-1 victory was definitely deserved by the Gunners as they withstood an aerial and physical onslaught from the Hammers to take home the three points. Here is what I thought of the players’ performances in the match.
Vito Mannone: Probably his weakest performance since coming into the team. I thought he could have done better in the first goal and definitely gave everyone a moment of concern when Andy Carroll beat him to a cross only to head wide. Rating: 6
Carl Jenkinson: Another good display from Jenkinson. I must admit I was not a fan of the player before the season but I am fast turning around. He has been very steady but in defense and attack, although he could improve on his crosses. Will definitely give Bacary Sagna a ...
