Barcelona are rumoured to have reached a personal agreement with Alex Song according to The National. The Arsenal midfielder is said to have agreed to a five year deal worth €5m a year, with the transfer fee said to be the only sizable obstacle remaining. Arsenal are unsurprisingly not enamoured about the prospect of losing another player to the Catalans, but a bid over £15m might make them think otherwise. Mundo Deportivo in Spain contradicts the rumours though as they suggest that Barca are nowhere near signing the 24 year old, stating that the club are yet to being formal talks with the Gunners.
