Robin Van Persie wins the first of many trophies at Arsenal – PFA player of the year

Our very own striker Robin Van Persie was crowned the PFA player of the year award and I strongly believe this will be the start of many awards and trophies to come at Arsenal at least in the next decade. His award was well deserved though there was strong competition from the likes of David Silva, Sergio Aguero, Joe Hart and Wayne Rooney. I will admit I was worried when Robin was suffering his dip in form while Rooney and Aguero were still finding the back of the net, but Justice was served as Robin proved that his record-breaking year was better than the rest.
