There is a fair bit of Arsenal transfer rumours floating around at the moment, however mainly negative as it looks likely that two likely transfer targets Ajax’s defensive beast Jan Vertonghen and France international striker Olivier Giroud will not be joining the Gunners this summer.
The Montpellier striker Olivier Giroud, who was believed to be right at the top of Wenger’s shopping list has revealed that his agent is in talks with Bayern Munich, effectively ending any speculation with the Gunners.
The Frenchman has had a sensational season helping the Ligue 1 side to the top of the table, after netting an impressive 21 goals this season. His club’s owner Louis Nicollin has priced his star man at a crazy £50million, but he most likely fetch around the £15m mark.
