Malaga winger Santi Cazorla was spotted taking a flight to London to finalise his switch to Arsenal reported the Daily Star earlier today. The Spaniard is set to leave the La Liga side with the clubs reportedly agreeing on a £16 million transfer fee.
The Spain international joined Malaga just last season and played a key role with 9 goals in 34 appearances as the club qualified for the Champions League with an impressive fourth place finish. However, the club is going through a financial crisis and the player suffered last season bearing with unpaid wages. Malaga are prepared to let their star depart as they seek to settle their debts at the earliest to avoid heavy penalties that include relegation and UEFA licence cancellation.
