Shocking £10,000 per match clause revealed in ex-player’s contract

In contract details revealed via the Mail, it’s said that now former Arsenal player and England international Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had a clause in his contract that meant former club Southampton were cashing in.
The clause in the contract apparently stated that Arsenal would have to pay the Saints £10,000 per match, but only if Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain featured for a minimum of 20 minutes.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s move to north London in 2011 was seen a big opportunity for the then youngster to become one of the country’s top English stars, he however failed to hold down a regular place and was sold to Liverpool back in 2017 – and has been injured since the end of last season.
