Swedish Prodigy Snubs Arsenal And City

Benfica have beaten competition from the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City to sign highly rated Swedish winger Robert Mirosavic.

The Sweden Under-17 captain has been going on trials at various clubs all over Europe for the past year, leading to various speculations regarding his future. However, it has been revealed that Portuguese powerhouse, Benfica have signed him on a three year deal.
Mirosavic first had a trial at Arsenal, where Arsene Wenger was impressed with the lightening fast winger’s skills. But, Arsenal were unable to lock him down on a contract, and he was thus seen trialing at various German and Dutch clubs. He returned to England again, this time to try out for newly-crowned Premier League champions, Manchester City and Sunderland.
