Szczesny Out Of Montpellier Game

Arsenal will be without their first choice goalkeeper as they take on French champions Montpellier in their opening Champions League group game. Wojciech Szczesny is missing with an ankle injury he picked up in the win over Southampton this weekend. The Gunners managed to put six past the ailing Saints yet lost their clean sheet record after Szczesny made a calamitous mistake allowing Southampton to pull one back. It was only the second game the Polish keeper has played in this season, he started against Sunderland on the opening day of the season but an injury then saw Vito Mannone deputise in goal for the next two games against Stoke and Liverpool.
Overall the loss of Szczesny should not be too noticeable during tomorrow’s nights game, especially if Mannone continues to perform as solidly as he has in the two matches he has featur...
