The Arsenal 0-0 Chelsea: Lethargic, slow, tedious…a completely flat performance.

I can’t even be bothered with sarcasm. That’s how tedious that game was; it doesn’t even warrant being humorous about. This will probably be the shortest match report I’ve ever written. Usually with The Arsenal, you start these things thinking “where shall I begin?” due to the furious pace and quantity of eventful moments. This time, I’m still thinking the same thing, but because, well, nothing really happened.
Pre kick-off, the team news excited many a Gooner, with a host of changes for both sides. The Ox was starting (causing twitter to go into meltdown with the sheer number of “YEEESS!!!” tweets) and Koscielny returned after suspension. Gibbs had managed to recover from injury, whilst on the downside Benayoun was ineligible and Arteta injured for the remainder of the season.
