The memories of last season that will endure

IT has been under a month since the season ended but it feels like a lot, lot longer.
I for one have found it remarkably easy to move on from the campaign just gone. Nobody pretends it was a classic and at first glance it appeared as unremarkable as the five previous at the Emirates.
Yet for all that, I think there are probably four memories that will endure for a long time to come. In no particular order, they are:
1) The form of Robin Van Persie. Champagne stuff that lasted more or less all season long. You don’t forget one of your own scooping both individual awards in one season.
