Finally, the transfer window is closed and we can all go back to just focusing on what matters. The football.
As much as I don’t like to dwell on what could have been and ponder on where this years window has left us, it’s hard to ignore it. So I thought we shall have a little round out of what we’ve lost and what we’ve gained over the summer break. The best way I can see of doing this is to compare last seasons stats between the players in and out of the door and try and estimate what we could expect this year.
The biggest departure was no doubt that of a certain Mr van Perise. With the season he had it was little surprise there was so much speculation about his future and we all know what how that ended up.
