The RvP Saga Finally Near Completion ?

The season is over. All the teams can reflect back on their season and relax and enjoy their summer. Arsenal though, have a very busy summer ahead of them, and it all starts with the crunch talk between Arsenal and club skipper Robin van Persie and his contract extension, which are set to be discussed on Wednesday.

Having wrapped up the third spot in the league and ensuring their passage directly to the group stages of next season’s UEFA Champions League, Arsenal can be proud of their achievement this season on the whole, especially after getting off to a torrid start of the season which saw them languish in 17th spot at one point of time. The Gunners have come back and clinched third spot, seeing off the challenge of London rivals Tottenham Hotspurs.
