With the 2011/12 season ticking to a close many footballers and fans will be looking back over the campaign, reflecting on the positive aspects and the highlights. However, some will be reluctant to do this, merely counting the days until the summer begins and the year can be put in the past.
Whether they have failed to live up to expectations, not settled at a new club or suffered with prolonged periods of injury, there are many reasons for players across the league to look at the current campaign with feeling of disappointment.
