Arsenal’s London rivals Tottenham Hotspurs have reportedly made inquiries regarding French midfielder Yann M’Vila, after the Gunners dropped their interest in the holding midfielder.

M’Vila, currently plying his trade with French outfit Rennes, was widely expected to be on the move this summer, with Arsenal being the most interested club in the Frenchman’s services. After being linked to former Arsenal and French great Patrick Vieira, M’Vila earned several plaudits from pundits and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger himself, who was keen to strengthen his midfield area and had earmarked M’Vila as the ideal transfer target.
