Transfer Deadline Day: Monreal, Villa, Amorebieta & Santos latest

Many sources are reporting that Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Spanish left-back Nacho Monreal from Malaga, for a fee rumoured to be in the region of £8 million. Arsenal have been very quiet about who may join the club before the end of the transfer window, but it is thought that they are now looking to bring in a left-back following an injury to Kieran Gibbs. Gibbs is out for 3 weeks with a thigh injury suffered in last night’s draw against Liverpool and Andre Santos has not exactly proved to be Arsene Wenger’s best signing.
