According to Tuttosport, Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin could be the latest to leave the club, with Barcelona renewing their interest and considering a summer approach.

The 22-year-old was linked with a move to the Catalan giants, Juventus and Manchester City last summer, forcing Arsenal to turn down a bid from Juve and publicly rebuff the interest from Barca and City.

Arsenal managed to keep hold of Bellerin, but reports emerged that he sought at exit from the Emirates Stadium and was keen on a move to Barcelona at the time.

However, no move materialised, Barca signed Benfica’s Nelson Semedo and Bellerin has been a regular at right-back for Arsenal ever since. The La Liga leaders don’t appear to be giving up though and might lodge a bid in the coming months.

Juventus have pulled out of the race for the defender which leaves Barcelona unopposed, but the Spanish international won’t come cheap. He’s worth around £70m and Arsenal’s lack of cover at right-back could mean they’re reticent to let him go.

The player could force a move, as he previously tried to last summer, due to the club’s woeful form this campaign. He won’t be happy with his own form, nor the performances of Arsenal in the FA Cup, League Cup final and Premier League. Arsenal only have the Europa League left to fight for.

Even if Bellerin requests a transfer, until a replacement is signed, it’s unlikely Arsenal will let the hot prospect leave.
