Manchester United and Arsenal’s most important transfer targets Yann M’Vila’s move has been put on hold after the French defensive midfielder spent a night in jail for punching a 17-year-old teenager.

According to the player’s agent, the incident occurred in his own house in Vern-sur-Seiche, and the victim was a person from the defensive midfielder’s entourage.
“Yann has acknowledged that it was an inappropriate response but provoked by the betrayal of the trust he gave to this young man,” Thierry Fillion, told L’Equipe.
“As it stands, no decision has been taken yet by the Rennes prosecutor on this case but the file will be forwarded to him within eight to 10 days.”
