Van Persie claims PFA Player of the Year award

Gunners captain and talisman Robin van Persie has won the PFA Player of the Year award after a sensational season that has seen the Dutchman top the goalscoring charts in England so far after scoring an impressive 33 goals in all competitions.
The striker managed to pip Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Joe Hart, Wayne Rooney and Scott Parker to receive the illustrious Premier League award, after an amazing personal campaign where he has often taken matches by the scruff of the neck and gained 3 points time and time again for the Gunners this season. He has been at the forefront of a remarkable turn around for the North London side as they are on the verge of automatic Champions League qualification.
