Local press in Colchester is reporting that Craig Eastmond and Sanchez Watt, who are on loan with Colchester United, are already making an impact and helping to bring the ‘Arsenal way’ to the club, highlighting the impressive role the duo played in Colchester’s 3-1 win over Hartlepool.
Speaking about their three month loan deals, Watt said
It’s about believing in ourselves – everyone loves football and we want to play. We played the way that Arsenal do and passed and moved the same way. As the game went on we got more comfortable with it and we got stronger and stronger.
We’ll obviously have to change our tactics a bit for different matches but we want to be attacking with pace and not just sitting back. Our game plan worked against Hartlepool.
