Wenger admits Giroud deal is on -Bendtner's selling himself -Happy Red-sacked day!

The deal to sign Olivier Giroud is close to being complete. A fee in the region of £10m has been agreed with Montpellier and personal terms with the player shouldn't take too long to finalise. The deal could be announced as early as today.

When asked about Arsenal's interest in the France international last night Arsene Wenger had a big smile on his face when he said "I can't say anything" before later adding "Nothing has been decided" when pressed on French TV.

Arsene's poker face is rubbish. But he can't admit to the deal until Giroud has put pen to paper.
