Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger believes that strict punishment should be implemented for offensive chants, after he and Arsenal’s midfielder Aaron Ramsey were on the receiving end of massive Stoke City fans’ abuse.
Arsenal and Stoke have not had a very good relationship in the last few years, especially after Stoke’s Ryan Shawcross’ poorly timed tackle broke Ramsey’s leg. The two clubs resumed their bitter relationship in a match which ended 1-1, but the main talking point was the constant and surprising booing Wenger and Ramsey got.
