Wenger wants Motpellier’s defender

Arsene Wenger is looking for reinforcements, and one of the main target for him in this transfer window has become Montpellier’s highly rated defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa. Arsene Wenger is big admirer of 22-year old center-back, and Arsenal would reportedly have to pay around £7million in order to get Central African Republic international to the Emirates.

The talented defender declared recently that he would love to play in England and that he is a great admirer of Premier League football. In one of the interviews he said: “People live for football in England, and that is what I want to experience. I’ll see what offers I get, but English football is incredible. There is more physical contact than in France, but I like that – it suits my style of play.”
