Wenger Wants Strict Punishment For Divers

As the English league has been lit up with controversies, judgement errors, and most importantly with diving incidents, Arsenal’s boss Arsene Wenger believes that players who dive purposely in the opposition’s box just to earn a penalty must be treated in a harsh way.

Wenger says that players found guilty of diving must be charged with a strict punishment like a three match ban. The Arsenal boss said, ”If an obvious dive is punished by a three-match ban, the players would not do it anymore. I would support it. It has to be obvious diving.
“Ashley Young for example against QPR I would not suspend him because I don’t know if he has lost his balance. He has made more of it for sure to get the penalty. This is not an obvious case for me.
