We've Sent In A Bid For RVP But Arsenal Is Stubborn- Ferguson

Alex Ferguson has admitted they are finding it hard getting Robin van Persie from Arsenal despite sending in a bid.

Amidst reports of Robin van Persie signing for Manchester United last night and his supposed trip in a chattered flight from Cologne, Alex Ferguson has come out to express his difficulty in capturing the striker.





Ferguson spoke after his side lost to Barcelona on penalty shootout in a pre-season match.


"We have made a bid and they've been trying to
negotiate with other clubs," said Ferguson. "I don't have a gut feeling
on it at the moment, I must admit.



"We're
not getting any breakthrough with Arsenal. It's difficult to say why
they're operating this way. I don't know what their thoughts are because
they're not giving anything away."
