Whipped by Wigan: Arsenal 1-2 Wigan

What a difference a week makes. Fresh from a Man City masterclass and a walloping of Wolves, we caught that disease called complacenititis against Wigan. A team who we won 4-0 against away with such ease caused us all sorts of problems at home. It was an unexpected and unwelcome setback and makes things slightly more difficult as we vy for third place.
The team
Wenger went with a similar XI to the game against Wolves with the only change being Rosicky starting again ahead of Ramsey. Once again Koscielny was susepnded serving out his second game, and the other regular starters out with injury. Once again there was no recognised winger, and I did not understand why. Benayoun is a good player, but we need the likes of Gervinho or Oxlade-Chamberlain in the position that he started in to add that extra spark to the wings. Too often...
