Why does Theo Walcott think he can play in the middle?

With negotiations having gone on for about 3 to 4 months now, it would appear that Theo Walcott is now ready to put pen to paper in a new deal that will keep him at the Emirates after next summer. Walcott’s contract expires next June and the player has been the subject of transfer speculations with Liverpool waiting in the wings should there not be an signed agreement by January.
