Will Yet Another Arsenal Player Join Barcelona ?

After luring Thierry Henry, Alexander Hleb and Cesc Fabregas away from Arsenal to join them in recent years, Barcelona are looking at yet another Gunner, and this time it’s a huge blow – Belgian star Thomas Vermaelen.

Barcelona’s interest in the ‘Verminator’ comes on the back of their unsuccessful negotiations in trying to lure AC Milan’s Brazilian defender Thiago Silva. The Spanish giants are looking at a long-term replacement for veteran defender Carles Puyol, and were initially chasing Silva. Milan however, are not willing to let their star leave at any cost, and have already rejected a massive £32 million bid from French moneybags Paris Saint-Germain.
