Wilshere Likely To Return To Action For England

Arsenal’s star player Jack Wilshere is about to get a much needed break after the long string of injuries which kept him  away from the pitch for the whole length of the season.

England’s manager Stuart Pearce declared that the midfielder’s skills will be taken into contention for the summer Olympics where Jack is likely to feature if he will manage to get fit soon and recover a part of his form.
“He is on the shortlist,” said Pearce. “We will look at everyone individually and check their fitness and the medical people will speak with the clubs.
“We do have to be acutely aware that with an 18-man squad, and possibly six matches in 16 days, all the players are fully fit.
“You can’t be losing two or three to injury, otherwise you will be on the back foot....
