Wilshere To Return After 14 Month Absence

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Jack Wilshere will make his first appearance in 14 months in an Arsenal shirt for the U-21’s.

Wilshere, who last appearance for Arsenal was a pre-season friendly with the New York Red Bulls back in August 2011, is set to take the next step in his rehabilitation progress by playing 60 minutes for the Arsenal U-21’s against West Brom on Monday night.
Wenger has confirmed that the England starlet will play for an hour in Monday’s match. “Jack will play on Monday night, he will play an hour. We have to be patient,” he said.
